Just wanted to update and let you all know that my new blog is finally almost here! I've been going back and forth on what type of blog I wanted, but I decided and my new FABULASH blog is underworks. This blog will no longer serve the purpose of teaser shots for clients, but MIGHT be used for small personal things. Not sure yet. I'll keep you all posted. I do appologize for the delay in sharing my current work with you all, but once the new blog is up and running I will post here so you can bookmark the new link and we can all do alot of catching up! Just one photo today. I felt the need to update the blog since its getting really neglected. I've taken some much needed time off of work and have been consumed with so many different projects that the blog NEEDS some updating now doesnt it? OK, ok...I'll get right on it. I'll be back to work in a jiffy and then I'll be bombarding you guys teaser shots soon! In the meantime, how do you guys like this oklahoma weather? Pretty nifty to be in the 70's one day and then rain/snow the next eh? Love it.
My daughter Joslyn was my willing subject today while I snapped a few photos outside in the rain. Look at this photo of her!! Need I say more? She's stunning isnt she?

Sometimes I look at my kids in awe and wonder how in the world they came from my genetic line. haha Thats the way its supposed to be I guess....always cuter than the generation before. I truly love this gal. She's so full of life and joy. Recently, her and her twin sister was enrolled in Kindergarten in preperation for next year and I went with her on a tour of her new school. Every single night since that day, she hugs and kisses me goodnight and then tells me all about how excited she is about the library, computers and her new teacher who's going to teach her how to read and do homework. Yes, while her sister Alexis is the social butterfly, Joslyn is my brainer. She's soooooo excited about HOMEWORK. Go figure. She might resemble her momma in looks a bit, but she didnt get her thirst for learning from me. Unfortunately, her twin sister takes after me in the socializing area. haha

I love you Joslyn. You are the light of my life. You complete me. Ok, that line came from a movie...but its true. MUUUAAAH!

My blog has gotten a bit of neglect lately. I've been soo busy with many different projects. Things are about to take off with TTPstudios now that the weather is warming up. My books are being filled quickly! For the first time I am having to book sessions a month or more in advance. So if your interested in a spring/summer session book NOW to reserve your slot!

Whats the best part of being a kid? Licking the bowl when mom and dad make cake! Unless of course your one of my children. Then you have to fight ME for the bowl. haha I have lots of fond memories about making cakes growing up and licking the bowl. What kid doesnt love it? This was the first time my youngest has done this. I think she was in heaven.

Think she can fit the whole thing in her mouth? Hey, licking the beaters is yummy too.

I have photographed these two many times and each session is always a blast. I enjoy watching these kiddos grow! Mr. A here is ALL boy. Combine that with being a 2 year old and lets just say he wanted to do what HE wanted. But thats OK. I love a challenge. Chasing him was FUN. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Feb Blog Stalker and home show update

I wanted to thank everyone who came and visited me at the homeshow this weekend. I am pooped. 3 days of standing has worn me out. But sooo worth it. I got to meet and mingle with so many wonderful people. Here's a little peek at my small table set up which made a HUGE impact at the show! Some snaps with the point and shoot

And one of my daughter Joslyn. She decided she wanted to spend the day with mom on Saturday. She was such a trooper and spent the day with me from 9a-10:30pm! LONG day and she was such a helper. Can you tell that she made herself at home? She colored, read books, watched movies on our travel dvd player, and helped me pass out cards and suckers. She also made friends with a little girl from the KIRC/police station booth. It was a great day!

Shawnee Homeshow

I wanted to take a moment to let you all know that the Home and Garden Show at the Shawnee mall starts tomorrow thru sunday during mall hours. I went to set up my booth tonight and saw lots of neat booths. There will be ALOT going on from all the venders, KIRC and many more. Come by and see me if you like! I will be busy with the booth and other business events until after Monday so unfortunately the blog is taking a break til then. I hope you all are doing well. Miss you all! Studio

So....I'm going to finally let the cat out of the bag. Its official! Tamara Tigner Photography now has a studio in Shawnee! I am very excited and I cant wait to dig in and put this building to work! I will share photos with you of the new studio soon, and you can watch the progress as it is transformed into the cozy spot I will call my second home. There isnt much work to be done to it, but we are wanting to pull up carpet and lay wood flooring as well as decorating it up.

Please know, that I will still continue to be available to studio sessions in Harrah as well. And location work outdoors will still be my main passion!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

I hope everyone is snuggled warm with their hubbies and enjoying the kids today. I told my hubby NO gifts this year. I like gifts through the year and not on the one day you expect them. Sooo...this year we did just that. Nothing. hahaha. Actually we celebrated with the kids and as a whole family. We went out to eat and then came home and made some yummy treats. A few sucker sticks, marshmellows, melted chocolate and sprinkles and we have ourselve a easy yummy treat. Kids loved it. The chocolate kept dripping so we went outside to eat them and the cool air dried them quick. haha

I feel like a broken record since every time I post I keep telling you guys that I'll get some new teaser shots posted soon and how busy I am lately. But its the truth. Wanna see what I've been up to? Well.....the Shawnee Mall is having a Home Show Feb 20-22nd and I will have a small booth there. In between clients I've been busy working on printing things I'd like to have at the booth. One of them is this beautiful newborn coffee table book. Look how gorgeous! I hope you all get a chance to come see me at the booth. I'll post more details about the home show soon!

I was blessed to be able to photograph this little munchkin in a session outdoors as well. I really enjoyed chasing after her and watching her explore her surroundings. This girl cracks me up with all the many cute/funny expressions she makes. I've just GOT to share more photos of her. So here you go.

This one just KILLS me. I love it. You think she thinks I'm a nut for running in front of her so much? haha

Newest Tigner Happenings

SOOOO...how have all of you been lately? I need to touch base with you all and catch up on all the new happenings. I've been a busy bee working my patootie off and so once again the blog is taking a back burner. So today's post will be my filler spot until I post more client teasers for you. Lots of things to tell you guys! Where to start, where to start.
Ok, so we'll start with my own children I suppose, because after all, I DO love showing them off as well. Can you believe its almost valentines day? Goodness! I'm going to blink and it'll be summer. wow. Time is speady isnt it? So my son decided that this year he wants to give his friends regular valentines day cards instead of the photo cards I typically do. That means, instead of taking his photo I searched the world for his FAVORITE cartoon ever to see if they made any valentine cards. And yep...ben 10 they do have. I managed to find some on ebay but they are cartoon network ones and also have other cartoons in the mix. Ah well, he's excited to have some of ben in there too. Ben 10=happy son! Works for me! My girls on the other hand LOVE pictures just as much as I do and wanted the photo cards. They are still young so I can get away with it. However, being the busy bee I've been lately I have slacked on getting their vday pics taken. BAD mommy! I ended up using their xmas photo instead. Hey, it works so why not? Not like their 5 year old friends are going to know the difference. haha So I slapped that booger on a vday card and instead of doing CARDS like I normally do, I ordered them as little wallets. I'm in love. They came in the mail the other day and I'm excited for my girls. Tooo adorable! LOOOK..

So there you have it. vday cards/pics made in an instant. haha

The second thing I wanted to mention is that I am now working closely with Lakeside womens hospital in OKC and A Glimpse Before and After Ultrasound in Moore. So all you expecting moms out there make sure you get my special gift for newborn sessions! Yesterday I went in to A glimpse before and after and dropped off some display prints for her walls, and I'm telling you, that place is SOOOO cute inside. Love how Maria, the owner has it decorated. I also love the big spacious rooms with couches for all your family to relax while viewing that precious baby. Maria projects the ultrasound on the wall so its HUGE. Oh, and forget lying on a hard hospital table, she has nice comfy BEDS! Love it. Wish I had gone to her when I was expecting. Check her out at http://www.aglimpsebeforeandafter.com

Lastly...OH I am not supposed to spill the beans YET, but lets just say that a new studio may be announced soon on the blog. I cant wait! OH and at the end of the month, Feb 20th, 21st, and 22nd I will have a booth at the shawnee mall for the home show they are having there. So come by and see me and pick up information about sessions and a gift card too! I'll also be having studio session specials so watch for that as well!

Feb 23rd I will be closed for sessions due to the fact I'll be gone ALLL day long in OKC to a photography seminar.

Little miss A

This little gal was a corker. She was the frown queen. I caught her grin a few times but those little eyebrows of hers were adorable as she glared at me with this frown like "who in the world are you!". Given she didnt really want to sit on my backgrounds and would have much rathered touring the place instead, my guess is that frown meant "I am SOOO NOT doing what you people want me to do!" haha This age is definately a challenge to photograph but I have to say she looks stinkin cute in these two shots!! Thanks Miss A for allowing me to get to know you!

How's everyone holding up in this winter weather? I hope everyone is staying nice and warm. Luckily for us my husband has been off of work the last few days and so he didnt have to bother calling in. My children are out of school again tomorrow so we are trying to find new ways to stay entertained while we are cooped up inside. Well, I shouldnt say cooped up because the kids did a alot of sledding in front of the house today. I just knew we'd have to have atleast one good snow/ice before winter was over given how mild of a winter we've had this year.

Let there be snow!

I woke up this morning and looked out my bedroom window to SNOW. What....how come no one told me it had snowed? I ran in the livingroom to which all my family was awake already but me, and I said "LOOOK kids, its snowing!" They all jumped up and looked out the windows. Funny thing is that they were all around the kitchen table eating breakfast and we have these pretty tall uncovered windows in the kitchen, but not ONE of them noticed it was snowing. Go figure! Hubby even had to take a peek and see if it was real. So what did we do with all this snow you say? I torchered my children and told them they had to wait to go play in it because it was still early in the morning. hahaha But when it was time, they had a blast. The hubster is taking the kids to go sledding down the road here in a bit. For now, my willing model allowed me some pics of her eating snow and enjoying our winter storm!

Can you believe how the weather is in Oklahoma? We can all agree that its always up and down. Cold one day, warm the next. And believe me, this winter has been JUST that. And today is no different. I hope all of you are staying inside and keeping warm during our ice storm. Thank goodness the schools are closed tomorrow. I worried about my children getting home from school on the busses today. I slid down the driveway just trying to walk to the bus to get them off. No, I didnt fall. Thank goodness too because the way our driveway is slanted it would have given me a good ride under the bus and down the road! Wouldnt that have been a sight to see. Luckily the bus driver was nice and he pulled up to the grass once he saw me losing my balance and flailing my arms all over like a mad woman. So anyhow, now we are in the nice warm house and we lit the fireplace for more warmth. OH how I LOVE my fireplace. Dont very much enjoy the gas bill from it, but its very pretty. So for those of you who are also cooped up inside, here's a pic for you to help you stay warm! Doesnt just looking at it make you suddenly feel all cozy inside? So sit by the fireplace with me at my home and stay warm for the next few days.........

Did you guys think I left ya? Nope, cant get rid of me that easily. I've been hiding away in my home sorting through paperwork because well....I'm NOT an organized person and did someone say its tax time? OH SHEESH! Forget that! I'm going to be like a bear and hybernate the rest of the winter. Wake me when tax time is over and the refund check is in my mailbox. Thanks!

Ok so on top of that, I've been busy putting all of my new business materials together! The face of Tamara Tigner Photography is slowly taking shape. I'm soo excited. For example...my logo, and business colors have changed to reflect all the fun children I photograph! LOOK at my new price lists! See how its all going to MATCH. For once! hehe

New business cards, new CD information packets, new welcome packets, ordering forms, thank you cards, new website, new blog....everything will match when its all said and done! You will soon be seeing all of these changes and I'm soo thrilled! 2009 is a great year already.

I have managed to find some ME time in the mix of it all. I rented a new lens(YES, I cant wait to try it out at my next session!) and had to play around with it tonight. I've had it in my dirty little hands for a few days but its been cold and NO willing subjects to pose for me. SOO I snagged my youngest for some fun shots tonight.

Ever heard the saying "babies are GODS way of saying life will go on"? I think about that every time I see a little sweet child like this one! What a beautiful miracle. I just LOVE newborn sessions. How come we cant get as comfy and cozy as this and sleep like a baby when we get older? What happened to THAT? It just isnt fair is it? Ah well-- I guess its ok cuz....eating and growing is hard work!!! So sleep precious baby, sleep.

This little peanut was sooo good during her session. At 3wks old its always a bit harder to get those cuddly folding positions but she was a trooper. Didnt like her belly much at all, but as long as we kept her on her back she was in sleepy time heaven. Mom and dad, you guys were awesome too! Thanks for allowing me to try fun poses with her and spend a couple of hours getting to know your family. I really enjoyed it! What a sweet angel you have! I cant wait to photograph her again and watch her grow!

You know your getting old when you can barely stay awake that late, let alone to celebrate. haha But I did. I was awake until the new year came, and then I CRASHED. We celebrated with some sparkling grape juice(yep! non drinkers over here!) and some movies from blockbuster. I watched the countdown and kissed my honey at midnight.

Nope, not here in Harrah there isnt. But the news has mentioned snow/ice a few times and then....Nothing! Just cold temps, and a few days not even that. Can you believe they are predicting 58 degree's on Christmas Day? wow. I cant even believe it myself. Where's our white christmas? I LOVE snow! As long as we dont have horrible ice and lose power like we did last year for 4 days(some people much longer than us in the state!) But just snow, I can handle. And I've been dying to do photos in the snow too. Any willing subjects??? Gotta love the bone chilling cold and building snowmen and throwing snowballs. I've been daydreaming about snow. And then I found this image from last year. I guess it will have to do for now. I'll just have to keep coming back to this photo until we do get some snow!

Holiday Vacation

I want to thank everyone for such a WONDERFUL year. I am still in disbelief that its ending, but I know 2009 is going to be EVEN better! I am still proofing sessions, and finalizing orders, so if you havent had your teasers posted yet, I am getting to them. I do appologize. They are on their way.

I wanted to take this time to let you all know that Tamara Tigner Photography is now on holiday vacation. I will be closed for sessions during December 9th, 2008-January 5th, 2009.
I will still be in the office off and on working on many projects for the upcoming year. I am currently booking sessions in Jan, and Feb.

Gingerbread house!

Have you ever gotten one of those gingerbread house kits? Our family has never done one, so this year it was a MUST. It was a very fun project. While my other children were outside playing, I snuck the kit and had a special date with my middle child(Joslyn) to work on the gingerbread house. She VERY much enjoyed doing this all herself. And you know what...she DID do it all herself. I cant even believe that my 4 yr old did this well on it. I barely helped her. Take a peek! Pretty darn good isnt it? I know, it makes me wanna sneak a bite. Yummy. GOOD JOB JOSLYN! Shhh....we'll say mommy made it so your brother and sisters dont get mad about not helping. hahaha

Time to reflect

One year has passed. How quickly it went by. I simply cant even begin to believe that its December already. Things are just very busy for us. Working, kids, Christmas shopping, and birthday shopping too. All THREE of my girls have birthdays a week before Christmas. We went shopping last night and bought their gifts. They are having a princess party from www.myprincessparty.net and they are soooo excited for Cinderalla to come to the house. Me too!! I guess all of us girls have a princess locked inside somewhere.

Soon, the holidays will come to an end and the new year will start. Then it will still be busy as everyone crams for tax season. Taxes....why cant they come back in time for Christmas so we had more money to spend? haha Yeah, my hubby would LOVE that.

I have been swamped with sessions and proofing and have not had much time for posting previews on the blog. I do appologize, but I am going through sessions left and right and getting galleries up a bit quicker for you to see, which is good. Trying to stay on top of a schedule so we can make sure to get all these wonderful photos and holiday cards back in time to pass out to all your friends and family!

I cant promise that I'll be able to pop in and post teaser shots as often as I have been. I'll try. I promise I'll try. But for now I wanted to reflect on the year that has passed. 2008 is almost gone. Do any of you who follow my blog, remember these photos? Two of my favorites from last Christmas!

These two toughed it out and did wonderful during our session this evening in Bricktown. I am seriously loving how cute all my clients are dressing their kiddos. I finally got around to doing some of the kids Christmas photos. I wasnt quite sure if I wanted studio or outdoor shots. I may end up doing both. But for now here's some of the studio ones I got. I'm fairly pleased, but let me tell you its SOOO hard getting all 4 of my kids together anymore. The kids know all of moms tricks, and are less than impressed. hahahaha Next year I may just have to hire a photographer! ROFL O-well...they still are cute.

I love doing sessions in bricktown. Today was perfect shooting conditions too. The lighting was perfect, and the weather was nice. It was a tad too windy but we managed and I got some GREAT shots of miss L. Plus, it helps that this girl is drop dead gorgeous! And thanks to mom for also dressing her super adorable. Gotta love it when you show up and they are dressed in trendy adorable clothing! Miss L seemed a tad quiet, but she did fantastic and I had SOO much fun with you guys this evening! I could go on and on, but I will just have to stop and let the pics speak for themselves. Look at these wonderful fall colors! Yummy!!!

Boy was it cold this evening and windy too! But I am not complaining TOO much since I know its only a matter of time before temps drop even lower than todays. I love winter, yet I long for spring again already. haha

For those of you who love the moon as much as me, isnt it just gorgeous tonight? Its nice and BIG. I came home(late) from doing some errands to prepare for a photo shoot tomorrow evening and I just couldnt take my eyes off the beautiful moon the whole way home. So as SOON as I stepped in the door to the house, I grabbed the camera and ran outside! Wish I had a longer lens for this, BUUUTTT....I did get a decent shot.

The last few days have been a blur to me. My gma is in the hospital with suspected carcinoid tumor(cancerous). I have been trying to spend as much time with her as possible at the hospital so I do appologize that I am a bit behind on posting new teaser shots from sessions I've just had.

Every now and then I get the pleasure of doing a photo session for family! So when I got an email from the *P* family, to do some long overdue photos for them, I of course said YES. And then made them cook din for us afterwards. Naw, just joking but, A, did decide to cook us a great meal. YUMMY. And our kids had a blast playing together. We will have to get together more often and not make it habit to wait so long! Thanks guys for the nice evening, and for letting me photograph your family!

Two little monkey's jumping on the bed

Nope...none fell off! Who said bed jumping is against the rules? Atleast not when it benifits mom and she gets to photograph it! haha I LOVE bed jumping shots. It just makes me giggle and feel the joy of childhood. Who doesnt remember how much fun it was to jump on the bed when you were younger? I think I wore my girls out having them jump SOO much for these shots. haha They plopped on the bed in exhaustion after this. What a mean mommy I am...."go jump on your bed NOW!" haha

They did have fun though, and I enjoyed pulling in my strobes for these so that I could make sure I had enough light to stop action since my girls room is a cave!!

Today was Boo on Bell Street in Shawnee. Such a FUN day. I was up and around enjoying (and photographing) the whole event from 9am-6:30pm. Whew...I am seriously tired. But it was soo much fun! I am glad that you all got a chance to come out and see me, and get candy too! Such GREAT looking costumes. I saw some very creative ones this year. I am impressed. My BABY is Seven!

I am such a BAD mommy! My son turned seven back in August and I am just NOW getting around to doing any kind of portraits of him. We enjoyed ourselves though. Him and I had a nice couple of hours, just the two of us driving around bricktown and scouting out locations. We stopped at the bontanical gardens for these shots, and wouldnt you know it....20(or MORE) other photographers out that day. haha It was photographer central over there. We could have had a work luncheon there were so many.

My son suffers big time from child photographer syndrom these days, so I had it in my head that I might not get any good shots out of him. BUT low and behold, the boy did great. AND, he was rewarded with some pics of him in his costume too.

OH dont newborns just melt your heart? They do me. I just cant stand it. Having newborns in my studio makes my ovaries ache for a little one. Then....they leave and I see my own FOUR kids and I'm very happy with the ages they are at too. Each milestone and age, as they grow is wonderful just as much. But gotta love the sweet smelling fresh new babies! I wish I had more in the studio than I do. So, I very much enjoy my baby fix for the few hours I get to spend with them.

I have been away from the office for a few days due to the fact that my son had been sick for 3wks and had severe pneumonia and strep throat. He was hospitalized and is finally on the mend. I meet the nicest people! While doing my booth at Sugar and Spice Sale recently, I had the chance to meet Alisha, the owner of Pink N Camo. She's such a sweet lady. So when she asked if I would be willing to drive out to her land to take some photos of her products for her website, I could not resist! Tonight was VERY fun. I printed out the directions, which sounded like she must live somewhere out of state, and I'd never find it, then picked up my assistant and headed out in the boonies for this session with Alisha. I made SURE I packed her phone number with me in case I got lost. BUT...she gave good directions and it only took us 5 hours to get there. haha Just teasing. We didnt get lost at all. Her land was GREAT. Lots of nice spots and the kids did wonderful! They looked like the princess country girls that they are! I had a blast working with you tonight Alisha, and I LOOVE your business and products. Such great work!

My new chair

I am always looking for new chairs for props! LOVE this one that I found for $30. Can you even believe it. Its sooo great. It had horrid wheels on it, but we removed them and plan on replacing it with some nice wooden legs. However, I'm kinda digging the no leg look! I want to place it in some TALL weeds soon. Yum. And of course my willing subject to model!

Ok so while I was taking shots of my girls in this gorgeous pasture yesterday practicing in full sun, I decided I wanted a close up of Joslyn. Her eyes were really looking soo beautiful. But looking up at me made her squinty. So I used my body as her sun block. And my white shirt made for a nice reflector! Here's my beauty. She looks FAB in red. I'm loving my new petti-dresses. CHILDHOOD!
Can life really get any better than this? My daily life sometimes has me forgetting the small things. My kids help bring that back to reality when I watch them play and enjoy being kids. Can you see the nice pink kiddie makeup she has all over her face too? Life is grand! Where have the days gone when you could sit on the back porch and make mud pies, then glamour yourself up in toy makeup, and swing to your hearts content, feeling the wind in your hair and enjoying the summer heat. I love charities and donations and just helping any way I possibly can. So when someone recently told me about how her husband who's military, and his squandron is collecting toys or money donations for the infant crisis center, I just knew I had to help her out too. SOO....Any new clients booking sessions who donate a toy will receive a FREE Standard Session! Donations accepted until October 15th. Thank you very much for helping us, and helping kids have toys for Christmas!

My days seem to be running together lately. I have 3 sick children at home. Nothing major, just coughs and runny noses. I've been busy getting things ready for my booth I'm doing this weekend at the Sugar and Spice Consignment Sale at the Expo center in Shawnee, and running errands left and right trying to take care of a situation my husband and I have fallen upon. We have been the victims of fraud. AGAIN. The first time was almost a year ago, and thankfully this time they didnt take near as much money from us. Whew! Still, its a pain having to deal with this and all thats involved with getting stuff straightened out.

I have been up to my ears in editing sessions. So I do apologize to my faithful blog readers for not posting many photos lately. I have also fallen behind on the alphabet shoots. SEE I told you I wasnt any good at keeping up with that stuff. haha. I'll try to post soon.

My Princess Party!

So I told you all that soon I'd be revealing details on princess parties. So here's the scoop! Are you ready for all your princesses to have that magical birthday they dream of?
Tamara Tigner Photography is now offering Princess Photo Sessions!
Here's what you get:

~1-2 hour photo session at a location of your choice dressed in their own princess outfit, or a tutu or peticoat from TTPStudios.

~$100 print credit

~(25) Custom Birthday Party Invitations w/envelopes featuring 1-4 images from your session.

Your daughter will get to spend the day with her favorite fairytale princess! Here's what Heather and Hannah offer with a princess party package:

~An interactive story.
~ A princess appearance dressed as your favorite character (Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, a Pink Princess "Barbie" and a Fairy Princess)

And here's what Heather told me about her parties:

Once we get there, we will begin telling the guests a story about a special princess (the birthday girl). In order for this special girl and all her friends to become "real" pincessess and princes, they must pass 2 or 3 tests (depending on time). These "tests" are actually games that we will play. After the children pass the tests, we will go on an imaginary treasure hunt to find the keys to the treasure.

After we unlock the treasure, all of the children will get to pick some treasures from the box and receive card stock crowns. There is also a craft for decorating the crowns with stickers and jewels. We will also do hair glitter and your choice of face paint or make-up for everyone.

The birthday girl will receive the gifts listed above as well as a Princess tiara, a wand and a special gift from the princess.

The whole program usually lasts about an hour for up to 15 kids max and the cost is $160 for the basic package. Parties are most suitable for ages 3-8 years.
*We are often asked about appearances at a party. We are willing to accomodate you however you would like. Our charge for appearances is also $160.

The Premium Princess Package includes the above party. In addition, there is an autograph princess pillow signed by the princess and each of the guests. A picture of the princess and birthday girl will be sent in the mail in a cardstock princess frame. The cost for this package is $185.

For a guest list of 16-20 kids, all parties go up $20 and lasts about 15-30 minutes longer. For parties with multiple birthday girls, there is a $75 additional charge for each additional birthday child.
There is a $50 non-refundable deposit due to secure your chosen date and time.
*There is a $25 minimum travel fee for outside the greater OKC area. (borders are North Edmond-Choctaw-Moore-Yukon)

If you would like to check our availability for a certain date, please reply including the following infomation:
*name of the birthday child
*dates and party times you are flexible with
*character you want
*city the party will be in and your mailing address/phone number
*age to be of the birthday child
*number of guests you expect to have
*which package you are interested in
*choice of make-up or face-paint

Bags and bows!
I had to stop by and talk to Bianca at Laposh Dance Boutique in Shawnee yesterday and while we were there, we snagged a few goodies. How cute are these purses and bows, and bracelets! They are just sooo girlie and cute! My girls are in heaven with them.

Oh and another BOY scout photo. Yep...today I can post it cuz its letter B!!!

Boo on Bell Street

Looking for something FUN to do on Halloween? Well, Shawnee has it. Every year, they hold Boo on Bell street(events on bell street and main). I've gone to this event with my family in past years, but this year I am the event photographer. I'll be walking around enjoying the festivities and taking photographs for the Safe events for families. www.safeventsforfamilies.org
I will also have my own spot set up on bell street from 3-6pm where I'll be taking photographs of children in their costumes!

October 25, 2008 EVENT SCHEDULE

A BARK IN THE PARK - 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Local Vet Dr. Marr & Dr. Roach Norman will be available for all your needs. Dr. Marr will be offering micro-chipping for your pets safety while Dr. Roach will offer vaccinations. The Norman Agility Club will have an agility course for your pets to compete. In addition Four Paws Pet Salon will be on hand doing nails and etc. along with Todd Johnson of Norvartis helping to answer questions and bring awareness on the importance of guarding against Heart Worms and how important shots are. This event will take place at Woodland Park.

KNIGHTS AUTO SHOW - 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Name the era, and there will probably be an automobile in representation of it. Check out cars from nearly every decade and vote for your favorite. This event will take place in the Twilight Zone area.

POTT COUNTY LEATHERS - Time is still to be determined
If you’re into to motorcycles then this is the show for you. Come see bikes of every make and model. Vote for your favorite bike. This event will take place in the Twilight Zone area.

SPOOKY TALES & FOLKLORE - 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
In the warmth and comfort of the afternoon, stop in and listen to some creepy tales and the origins of several folk stories and superstitions. The event is sponsored by SEFF. This event will take place at Macabre Theatre which is located in the Twilight Zone area.

PUMPKIN PIE EATING CONTEST - 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
How fast can you eat a pumpkin pie? Delta Café is hosting our first ever Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest. There will be three qualifying rounds with the semi-finals to follow with a Grand Champion emerging from this group. There will be a prize award to the Grand Champion. This event is located at the Twilight Zone area.

HEARSE PARADE - 3:30 PM
Come see a parade like no other in Oklahoma. See 8 Hearse from local and area funeral homes. See hearse from classic designs to horse drawn. This event will take place on Main Street.

PUMPKINVILLE MAIN STREET TRICK OR TREAT - 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
This event is sponsored by Downtown Shawnee Merchants and SEFF Inc. This event is free and open to the public. Children ages 12 and under can trick-or-treat and participating downtown merchants. Trail is approximately three blocks long. This event will take place starting at Broadway and Main and will continue to Oklahoma and Main.

TWILIGHT CARNIVAL - 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
This event is sponsored by SEFF Inc. Play all your favorite carnival games. Each booth is run by a separate non-profit organization, raising money for a number of worthy causes. Come play the many “old-fashion” carnival games, also come bounce to the moon on the two moon bounces. Twilight has much more to offer.

MACABRE THEATRE - 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
This event is sponsored by SEFF Inc. Come and enjoy live entertainment by Liberty Creek Blue Grass Band along with Hillbilly Willies Sidewalk Circus. Come and enjoy live music and much, much more. This event is located in the Twilight Zone area.

HAYRIDE - 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
C&H Carriage Rides sponsors this event. Take a ride down historical Bell Street nestled in a bed of hay for a fall fun ride around the downtown area.

REST IN PIECES COSTUME CONTEST - 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
This event is sponsored by Restheaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Four Categories which included Children, Teen, Adult & Family. For the children there are four age group divisions will be offered they are Ages 0 - 1, Ages 2-3, Ages 4-6, Ages 7-9 and Ages 10-12. For teens there are four categories, most original, scariest, most creative and of course the grossest. For Adults there are three categories, best overall, most creative and most original. For the Family Division there is one category, best overall. Prizes will be awarded in each division. This event will take place at Macabre Theatre which is located in the Twilight Zone Area.

FRANKENMUTT HOWL-O-WEEN PET COSTUME CONTEST - 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Some dogs give you that look when you dress them up. You know the one. It says, “With all I do for you, this how you repay me.” Well, despite any possible pet trepidation, these are always a lot of fun. Which pet will take home the prize in the Howl-o-ween costume contest? You’ll just have to wait and see. The event is sponsored by Canine Companions for Independence - Red Earth Champions. This event will take place at Macabre Theatre which is located in the Twilight Zone Area.

NOTE: All dogs must have current vaccinations and rabies shots. All participants must sign waiver. All dogs must be on LEASH at all times. Female dogs in any state of heat will not be allowed to participate. Event officials reserve the right to refuse entry to aggressive animals.

SPIRITS OF SHAWNEE TERROR-TORY GHOST WALK - 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Join us on an eerie journey into Old Shawnee Town’s haunted past as you stroll 19th century neighborhoods of the historical district. Stories and legends of the unusual and supernatural are combined with the fun and fascinating history of our city. The tour is chock-full of old stories and legends of paranormal experiences. Tours will start at the Farmer’s Market at dark. Cost for the tours is as follows: Child admission is $4.00 and Adult admission is $6.00. This event is located in the Twilight Zone area and is a walking tour.

ZOMBIE ISLAND - 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM
New and improved to the Boo on Bell family is Zombie Island. Come hang out in the graveyard with some Ghost and Ghouls. Zombie has something to offer teens and the young at heart a place to hang out. Laser Tag, Shock Rock Bands and Tattoos are a few of the items one will find on the island of the dead. This event is located off Bell Street.

MYSTERY THEATER - 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
For your dining enjoyment Mystery Theater has been added to this year’s event. Sit and enjoy your food while enjoying fall cartoons and movies. Total enjoyment for the entire family one and all. This event will take place at the Twilight Zone area.

LEAKY CAULDRON FOOD COURT - 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
This event is sponsored by SEFF. Wonderful and spooky culinary delights will be served all day during the Boo on Bell. Items such as Indian Tacos, Fried Twinkies, BBQ, Burgers, Funnel Cakes and etc. The food court is located off Main on Bell Street.

A cub scout! So I see lots of photographers shoot the alphabet. Every day, you take a photograph of something with a letter in the alphabet. I'm made attempts at this before, and well....I get busy and dont finish. But here I am again, giving it a go. Because I LOOVE to photograph non session things as well. I love to keep challenging myself to just enjoy my camera when I'm not working. So today I start the alphabet.

A is for....A cub scout. Ok so I am cheating a bit since cub scout is C. But heck...put an A in front of it and I'm good to go, right? Give me a break. HAHAHA

My son is now in the scouts and he's gone to a few meetings so far, but today was his first day in uniform. OH, I'm in love with a boy in uniform!!!

Oh and cant forget this guy. A scare crow. Well, he's not so scary. And look...he even smiles for me. Maybe I should start taking photographs of non moving targets. I get much better co-operation. hahaha
